Job Title: Contract / Commercial Manager
Location: Al Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Contract / Commercial Manager to join our dynamic real estate team in Al Riyadh. The ideal candidate will possess strong negotiation skills, a deep understanding of contract law, and a keen eye for detail. This role is vital to the success of our projects, as you will be responsible for managing all aspects of contracts and commercial operations within our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Contract Management:
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with clients, vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Ensure that all contracts comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor contract performance to ensure that all parties fulfill their obligations.
- Handle any contract modifications, extensions, or terminations as necessary.
- Maintain an organized system for contract documentation and records.
Commercial Operations:
- Develop and implement commercial strategies to optimize project profitability.
- Analyze project budgets, costs, and financial projections to identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to mitigate commercial risks.
- Oversee procurement processes and vendor management activities.
- Conduct regular performance reviews of vendors and subcontractors.
Stakeholder Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all contractual matters.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams to ensure alignment on contract terms and conditions.
- Address any disputes or conflicts that may arise during the contract lifecycle.
Compliance and Risk Management:
- Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to contracts and commercial operations.
- Implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Conduct regular audits to assess compliance with contractual requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Law, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Proven experience in contract management, commercial operations, or a similar role within the real estate industry.
- Strong knowledge of contract law, procurement processes, and commercial principles.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and contract management software.
- Certification in contract management (e.g., CPCM, CFCM) is a plus.
