Job Title: HR Manager
Location: Damascus/Syria, UAE, Iraq, Europe
Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Manager to join our team in Damascus. The HR Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources management, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training and development, and compliance with labor laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent interpersonal abilities, and a deep understanding of HR best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment and Talent Acquisition:
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent.
- Coordinate the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, interviewing, and candidate selection.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop job descriptions and selection criteria.
- Employee Relations and Engagement:
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment by promoting employee engagement and morale.
- Address employee relations issues and concerns in a timely and effective manner, providing guidance and support to managers and employees.
- Implement employee recognition programs, team-building activities, and initiatives to enhance employee satisfaction and retention.
- Performance Management:
- Develop and implement performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and feedback mechanisms.
- Provide coaching and support to managers and employees on performance improvement and development opportunities.
- Monitor and evaluate employee performance against established goals and objectives, identifying areas for improvement and recognition.
- Training and Development:
- Identify training and development needs across the organization and develop training programs to address those needs.
- Coordinate employee training and development activities, including orientation programs, skills development workshops, and leadership training.
- Monitor the effectiveness of training programs and evaluate employee performance and progress.
- HR Policies and Compliance:
- Develop, implement, and enforce HR policies and procedures in compliance with labor laws and regulations.
- Ensure HR practices are aligned with company values, goals, and objectives, promoting fairness, equity, and diversity.
- Stay informed about changes in labor laws and regulations and ensure compliance with all applicable legal requirements.
- HR Administration and Recordkeeping:
- Oversee HR administration tasks, including payroll processing, benefits administration, and personnel recordkeeping.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records and databases, ensuring confidentiality and data security.
- Prepare regular reports and analytics on HR metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) for management review.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree or HR certification preferred.
- Minimum of [10] years of experience in human resources management, with a proven track record of success in HR leadership roles.
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and regulations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Strong leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in HR software and systems.
