Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) Manager to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of MEP systems for our real estate development projects in Al Riyadh. The MEP Manager will be responsible for ensuring that MEP designs meet regulatory requirements, quality standards, and project specifications, while also optimizing efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the MEP design and engineering process, including conceptual design, detailed engineering, and coordination with architects, consultants, and contractors.
- Review and approve MEP design drawings, specifications, and technical submittals to ensure compliance with regulatory standards, project requirements, and industry best practices.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external consultants to develop comprehensive MEP plans, schedules, and budgets for each project phase.
- Manage the procurement of MEP equipment, materials, and services, including vendor selection, negotiation, and contract administration.
- Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of MEP systems on-site, ensuring compliance with approved designs, safety standards, and quality requirements.
- Monitor and track MEP project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and implement effective mitigation strategies to ensure timely delivery and budget adherence.
- Provide technical guidance and support to project teams, contractors, and stakeholders on MEP-related matters throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct regular site inspections and quality audits to verify MEP installation quality, identify deficiencies, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to resolve MEP-related design conflicts, changes, and coordination issues.
- Stay informed about emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in MEP systems design, construction, and sustainability to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field. Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., PMP, LEED) is a plus.
- Minimum of [10] years of experience in MEP design, engineering, and project management, preferably in the real estate development industry.
- Proven track record of successfully managing MEP systems for large-scale real estate development projects from concept to completion.
- In-depth knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and standards related to MEP systems design and construction in Al Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MEP design software, project management tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Fluency in both English and Arabic languages is preferred.
