Location: Aleppo, Syria

Overview: We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Manager to join our reputable holding company based in Aleppo. The Quality Manager will be responsible for implementing and maintaining quality management systems across various subsidiaries and business units within the holding company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality management, with a focus on driving continuous improvement, ensuring compliance with quality standards, and fostering a culture of excellence throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Quality Management System Implementation:
    • Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive quality management system (QMS) in accordance with international standards (e.g., ISO 9001) and industry best practices.
    • Define quality policies, procedures, and work instructions to ensure consistent adherence to quality standards across all business units.
    • Conduct regular audits and assessments to evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of the QMS, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  2. Quality Assurance and Compliance:
    • Establish quality assurance processes and protocols to ensure that products, services, and processes meet or exceed customer requirements and regulatory standards.
    • Monitor compliance with quality standards, regulations, and industry requirements, identifying non-conformities and implementing corrective and preventive measures.
    • Collaborate with regulatory agencies, certification bodies, and external auditors to maintain certifications and accreditations related to quality management.
  3. Continuous Improvement:
    • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, efficiency, and productivity across all business units within the holding company.
    • Analyze data, metrics, and performance indicators to identify trends, root causes of issues, and opportunities for improvement.
    • Implement quality improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma, Lean Management, or Total Quality Management (TQM) to drive process optimization and waste reduction.
  4. Training and Development:
    • Provide training and guidance to employees at all levels on quality management principles, practices, and tools.
    • Foster a culture of quality and accountability by promoting awareness and understanding of quality goals, objectives, and expectations.
    • Develop and deliver training programs on quality management topics, including quality control techniques, problem-solving methodologies, and risk management practices.
  5. Supplier and Vendor Management:
    • Collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams to establish quality requirements and standards for suppliers, vendors, and contractors.
    • Conduct supplier audits and assessments to evaluate compliance with quality specifications and contractual requirements.
    • Establish supplier performance metrics and monitor supplier performance to drive continuous improvement and ensure product and service quality.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Certification in quality management (e.g., Certified Quality Manager, Certified Quality Auditor) preferred.
  • Minimum of [X] years of experience in quality management, quality assurance, or related roles, preferably in a holding company or multi-business environment.
  • Strong knowledge of quality management principles, methodologies, and tools.
  • Experience implementing and managing quality management systems (QMS) in accordance with ISO standards.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in English and Arabic.
